Find a Community Fundraising Buddy

In this session we will be facilitating a 'find a buddy' exercise, where we will help you find a fellow fundraiser with a similar role or level of experience at another organisation. Buddies can be extremely helpful when benchmarking, looking for advice or just to bounce ideas off.

You will recieve a handout of how to be a great buddy, as well as the chance to chat to the IoF Community Special Interest Group committee to pick their brains on community fundraising.

The explosion of digital marketing within the charities sector, encouraged by high profile viral campaigns like 'No make-up selfie' the the 'ice bucket challenge', has opened the door for charities to review how they engage with their target audiences.

Inspired to bring charity and film togther, Kingston Smith teamed up with Bournemouth University's emerging visual effects and animation talent to produce high quality films for charities to use to champion thier work.

This session will showcase some of the results and explain how your charity might be able to enter this year's competition.
