Alison joined the National Trust 3.5 years ago as their first Head of Legacy Marketing. A year later she took on responsibility for a range of other direct marketing fundraising areas (Mid Level Giving, Raffle, Commemorative, Cash Appeals, Regular Giving and F2F), becoming Head of Individual Giving with a remit to grow this mix of income streams into an integrated, high-performing function with stretching targets around lifetime value as well as in-year income generation. Prior to joining the Trust, Alison worked for the University of Oxford for 12 years in a variety of externally-facing roles focusing on communications strategy, planning and brand development, as well as alumni and donor relationship management.
