Alix is Assistant Director of Engagement at Anthony Nolan, where she leads the fundraising team to save the lives of people with blood cancer. Alix’s previous career has including leading the corporate partnerships teams at Macmillan Cancer Support and Alzheimer’s Society.

At Macmillan, Alix developed a new strategy to win and develop partnerships to grow income, and to provide value to people with cancer that the charity couldn’t achieve alone. Partnerships in the portfolio included Boots, Nationwide, Marks & Spencer, and nPower, across employee engagement, commercial and integrated partnerships, and income grew by over £8million a year whilst she led the team.

Previously Alix worked for Alzheimer’s’ Society, leading the corporate partnerships team, to deliver award-winning and record-breaking partnerships with Tesco, Bupa, Credit Suisse, Santander and KPMG.

Prior to working in the charity sector, Alix worked in both the private and the public sectors, with the common theme of engaging companies with cause projects. Projects that she worked on include securing corporate sponsorship to the Gleneagles G8 Summit, engaging companies to bring young people from across the Commonwealth together for a Youth Conference, and building partnerships for a national literacy competition.
