Kate joined PHF in 2016, focusing on supporting organisations working with young people. She has been involved with the voluntary youth sector since her time living in supported accommodation as a teenager. In her early career she delivered frontline work with children and young people in schools, colleges and non-formal settings. She went on to work on major national youth projects such as O2 Think Big at UK Youth and Healthy Conversations at The Foyer Federation. She also worked as Development Manager at The Foyer Federation, with a focus on Advantaged Thinking initiatives. Kate has a BA in English and Comparative Literary Studies from the University of Warwick. She is a trustee of Voyage, a London based charity investing in the leadership potential of young BAME people.
