Nick Holmes is the Strategic Director and founding partner of Different Kettle, one of the UK’s leading direct marketing agencies specialising in fundraising for the charity sector. Nick began his career as a copywriter in commercial above-the-line agencies creating multi-media campaigns for the likes of Volkswagen, Bass Breweries and Weetabix. In 1997 he took up the role of Creative Director at Target Direct, working across a range of charity accounts including Help the Aged, Amnesty International and Macmillan Cancer Support. He soon realised this was the sector his heart belonged to and has never looked back since. He set up Different Kettle in 2000, since when the agency has raised millions of pounds for clients including Greenpeace, Christian Aid, Macmillan Cancer Support and Amnesty International. The success of their work has been recognised by a string of industry awards.
