Rachel is Philanthropy Director at The Prince’s Trust, responsible for recruiting and stewarding philanthropy income, both individuals and trusts. Philanthropy supporters give over £20m each year to the charity and Rachel is passionate about making sure these are rewarding relationships for both the philanthropists and the organisation. Prior to this, Rachel led the charity’s anniversary campaign, One Million Young Lives, to raise £40m to accelerate the growth of its work. Rachel has worked at The Prince’s Trust for over 10 years in a variety of philanthropy and regional roles. She developed her passion for the charity through volunteering as a mentor to a young asylum seeker in 2004. Prior to The Prince’s Trust, Rachel worked as a fundraiser in several smaller charities that focus on children and young people. A career highlight was a year in Costa Rica & Nicaragua with Raleigh International. Rachel is a graduate in Modern Languages from Keble College, Oxford University and an alumna of the Windsor Leadership Trust.
