Biography

Ross is Director of Fundraising and Communication at the charity Missing People. The charity gives people in crisis a way to reconnect 24 hours a day, helps families to cope whilst their loved one is missing, works to break the cycle of further disappearances, and campaigns for change and understanding.

Ross leads an award winning team who have grown the charity’s income by 50%. Missing People’s strategic partners include the Royal Mail, Deliveroo, and the out-of-home advertising industry. Missing People has recently secured the first Charity IT Award from the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists; The Telegraph Christmas Charity Appeal and the £1mn Dreamfund.

Missing People’s recent awards include the Helpline Partnerships ‘Helpline of the Year’, a Charity Governance Award for ‘embracing opportunity and harnessing risk’ and the Sunday Times ‘Top 20 best non-profit to work for.’

Ross is a trustee of two large charitable trusts awarding funds from players of the People’s Postcode Lottery (the third largest private charity donor in the world), and Foal Farm animal rescue centre in Kent.

Ross is an Advisory Board member for Fundraising Week.
