Head of Fundraising

Leprosy Mission (England & Wales)

For the past 4 years, Zoë Bunter has led the fundraising team at Christian international development charity, the Leprosy Mission England & Wales. The Leprosy Mission is a medium-sized NGO, raising around £7m per annum to support leprosy-affected people in Africa and Asia. In 2015 she led the Leprosy Mission through the most successful fundraising campaign in its history. The ‘Feet First’ campaign raised £2.3m to support leprosy-affected people in Mozambique. As a result, the Leprosy Mission was shortlisted for two national fundraising awards. Zoë has been a fundraising professional for 17 years in a range of secular and faith-based charities. She is passionate about fundraising and about loving the donor, as we engage them in a profound relationship of giving and receiving. Zoë sees fundraising as a calling, and not just a job, and sees giving as a spiritual act as well as an emotional response, and a practical reaction to need.
